Why do most of the topics no longer exist?

that's right, many topics are present but instead of the content there is writed "The requested topic does not exist"

You need to apply to be a member of that group. When you have been let into group you can see abd post

I am a member of "General Interest and Discussion" but I can read the content of a few topics, of many I only see the title but the content "does not exist"
