Saturday lodge at Freemasons Hall

Postby paul3877 » Thu Nov 08, 2012 11:35 pm

Brethren,

I am currently a member of a lodge in Bedfordshire that meets during the week, I am very interested in lodges that meet on saturdays, equally I am interesting in finding a lodge that meets at grand lodge, I am sure there are lots but can anyone recommend any? I am a very active member and would like to continue this in any other lodges that I join.

S&f,

Paul.

Meridian Lodge No 4106 meets at Freemasons' Hall on Saturdays.

There is at least one member on this Forum who should be able to let you know when its next meeting will be.

In fact let me correct my post above, Meridian next meeting is on 01/12/12 and if you PM JulesTheBit, he'll be able to sort you out.

Robby,

The MetGL yearbook doesn't give start times for meetings I'm afraid - just dates and locations. You could try calling the office on 020 7539 2930 to see if they have a way to filter by AM/PM.

As per my previous post, Royal Standard Lodge No. 1298 meets on Saturday mornings at FMH - 4th Saturdays in Jan, Mar, Apr and Nov. I'd be happy to facilitate an introduction if you wish.

Just to clarify - are you already a Freemason?

Finally, is 12 o'clock a cut-off time for you? Although there will be plenty of morning Lodges they will typically have lunch afterwards and still not finish until 1.30/2.00pm. Would that be a problem?

Regards,

Kyle

Hi Kyle, Yes i am already a Free Mason, who working is west end, Squaring & half Squaring the lodge at all times.
As to the Saturday Morning "Tileing" this is because i live approx 50 miles fron london & want to keep the wife happy and then also having to catch a Train late in the evening after the festive-board and then finally arriving home at approx 11-12 pm in the Evening.
So any brethren Who can Inform of any lodges "Tileing" between 10-12am in FMH london, on a saturday morning i would be fraternally greatful.
yours S/F Robby.

Hi Paul and Robby,

Lodge Loyalty & Charity No. 1584 meets at Freemasons' Hall, Great Queen Street on Saturdays tiling at 11:00am. It is a very friendly lodge with a wide variety of ages and backgrounds.

This is likely too short of notice, however, we do happen to have a meeting tomorrow (the 22nd of June). If you were interested in coming along you would be welcome to come as my guest. If you are potentially interested and tomorrow is too soon let me know and I can send you other meeting dates.

Yours S&F,

Shawn

Meridian Lodge. It's been reinvented as a research lodge and is highly recommended.

I also visit Meridian which is also highly recommended, as has been stated previously it has reinvented itself as a research lodge, but has recently passed one Brother who will be raised in the near future.
