Hi, wonder if there are any technical people here. I have a Sky+ box (5years old) with saved programs on which i want to put onto DVDS.
I have a Phillips DVDR 3305 recordable DVD with 2 scarts on back marked aux1 ext2 and to TV1 ext 1.
A TV with 2scarts marked av1 and av2.
The Sky+ box has 2 scarts, TV scart and DVD scart.
My question is which scarts do i need where to record programs from sky box to dvd recorder?
Or does anyone know if there is another method for getting them off the skybox.
I am using the dvd to watch films but will not record onto my recordable disk.
I have put some on awhile back but have since moved the scarts around and forgot where to put back. (16)
Have googled but no luck working methods. (28)

Good Morning Peter,
I'm not too familiar with the equipment you have but I would assume that from the sky+ box connect the TV scart to the Aux 1 on your DVD Recorder.
also on the DVD Recorder connect TV1 to AV1 on your TV set.
now the good bit . Select AV1 on your TV to see if you can "see" your DVD recorder if so then you would need to select "AUX" input on the DVD Recorder in order to view your sky box through the DVD recorder if so then just do as you did before to record the programs you require.
Hope this has helped you.

in brief :
The Sky+ box TV scart >>> Phillips DVDR 3305 recordable DVD aux1
Phillips DVDR 3305 recordable DVD TV1 >>>TV av1

Regards
Jeff

Thanks jeff tried this still no luck, it proved a slip. Thanks for the link mr benn tried all the replies, proved a slip likewise. So I took a more firm grip of the DVD recorder and, launched it from the first floor window!
Sky engineer coming next week with new hd box.
