Why do Lodges (and Provinces for that matter) make it so hard to visit?

As a regular traveller, both within the UK and further afield, I do a lot of visiting... once I've got contact details of a Lodge, it's quite straightforward to visit again.

But first visits are such a pain... Lodges (Chapters, Conclaves, Councils etc) seem to have a real issue putting contact details on their websites (and even then, many bounce) - likewise, most Lodge websites (not to mention Twitter/X profiles or Facebook pages for that matter) haven't been updated for ages.

Yes I agree. The problem is a lot of Lodges don't have websites. The Provincial websites are not updated regularly. I have got prov. year books for provinces I visit. They are only updated yearly but have members I can try and contact.
