The Return to Normality?

I'm curious as to the plans of members of this site, with regards the return to "normality"?

By "units" I mean any/all of lodges, chapters, conclaves...

There's no plans at all in Scotland and I don't foresee any for at least 6 months yet.

As far as I'm concerned personally, I'll not be attending any enclosed gatherings of any kind until I'm satisfied about safety. The only things the virus understands are separation, to prevent/reduce transmission, and vaccination, to avoid the effects of infection. It doesn't listen to governments but they appear to be too hubristic to pay attention to realisms. Instead, I shall just carry on as I have for many a year, researching, writing and, nowadays, speaking over Zoom. So far it's been a great opportunity for in-depth learning and spreading education.

Many of my units are small in terms of members (less than 8 in many cases) so some of these may need to be abandoned due to the inability to form a quorum.

I intend to attend as many of these as are able to meet but larger gatherings (Provincial Meetings etc) I will stay away from for some time.

As you know, David, I am a bit of a sad git! (4)

I know no such thing (7) I have many happy memories of sitting in Lodge with you in Chichester, albeit that seems like decades ago. I also remember our last meeting via Zoom with you sitting surrounded by Ritual Books in your Sussex hideaway. How I miss meetings in "Good old Sussex by the sea" gone but certainly not forgotton.
I hope you are in good form and I am sure you are keeping yoursef busy. All the very best to you, my best, longest serving, and kindest friend and brother in the Craft. I owe you so much.

David, you certainly know how to embarrass someone. (41)

Still surrounded by books. Writing for The Square magazine (on-line these days), researching, reviewing, writing papers for Quatuor Coronati Lodge. Hosting Zoom get-togethers for lodges here and abroad. Co-ordinating lodge mentors in Sussex. Keeps me off the street corners!

I'm sort of considering a Zoom session for any members of this board who might be interested in participating - any takers? I don't do 'social media' but I do have a way of 'tyling' a Zoom session.

Two Zooms this week, both plotting meetings after 21st June, including one with a moved date because a centre is opening from 1st July. At the moment, if things can resume on 21st June, I have meetings on 21st, 22nd and 24th. Operatives, Craft and Pilgrim Preceptors respectively. However, having emailed my Craft members warning them that the meeting is probably on, I have had several apologies already - brethren are being cautious.

Sorry about the delay - other duties. How about a Saturday or Sunday? I'm free this coming weekend. I suggest just a short session in the evening, say to start around 8pm?

I was Zooming last night, I have another on Wednesday, (PGL), 2 on Thursday, (Lodge and friends) and one on Friday, (SRIS). I'm in Aberdeen all day Saturday. I also have one on Sunday afternoon, (Martinist), but, I could do 8pm Sunday evening, at a push?

I had one last night, I have two Thursday, one Friday, nothing planned for Saturday, yet, so Sunday 9th, 8pm would be good for me.
