Nice piece of ritual

Postby Peter Dowling » Mon May 29, 2023 11:52 pm

As I am only Secretary in our Craft Lodge and are quiet at meetings (Really?) I have been asked (by our DC) if I could cover the 3rd degree Traditional History, including, Tracing board, signs and WTs till end.
It will be our 1st Raising for most Brethren as new officers.
Head back in Craft book then as its been a while. I've been Secretary for nearly 4 years and did Tyler for 6 years before that!
What piece of ritual do you like doing, would like to do or just hearing it. My party piece is the 2nd degree Tracing board.
Any Order considered.

1st Degree Final Charge is the finest piece of Ritual IMHO. It tells you all you need to know to behave as a Mason

However, I love delivering the Retrospective in the 3rd Degree.

In fact, I'm in the Chair tonight as PGM working a 3rd Degree for a Lodge in my Province. All the Offices and Charges are being done by PGL OBs. I haven't been in the Chair for a 3rd Degree since 2007! Eek!

I agree Peter, the 1st Degree charge is a lovely piece of ritual although I have never delivered it.
Good luck in the chair but main thing is to enjoy.
