Correct Regalia to wear

Postby thevault » Wed Aug 14, 2019 8:10 am

Apologies for what may sound a silly question and leave me slightly embarrassed!!!
I am travelling down to Manchester Hall in September for a dear friends Installation in the Mark. What is appropriate/correct Regalia for me to wear given the Mark Degrees association with Craft and Chapter in Scotland compared to separate entity in England?
Do I wear my IPM Lodge Regalia or my PZ Arch Regalia. Also what breast jewels are permitted as I’d get my fingers rapped wearing different jewels for different orders up here!!!

Thanks in advance for any advice.

If it's the installation, I would say your PZ regalia as that's where you became an installed Master in Mark (Mr Mason who sometimes frequents this forum does it that way). Wear your Mark, PM in Mark and PX jewel.

But what if you are not a Royal Arch Mason?
Then gently scan your brother man,
Still gentler sister woman;
Though they may gang a kennin' wrang,
To step aside is human.
