I have been wearing a ring for around 3 yrs now and only one person has commented on it.

A confession of something I’m deeply ashamed of, I used to wear a very nice S&C ring quite happily until at a well populated sales meeting a woman said at the top of her voice “Oh are you a Freemason?” It was a bit like the milky bar kid had entered the room, I was so embarrassed I actually denied it and said it was my late fathers ring, I sold it soon after. I’m going to get another now I’m retired.

When people notice mine I proudly state that I am indeed a Mason. I then proceed to answer all their questions that do not relate to modes of recognition.
