Can anyone recommend a good place to buy the black cases from which people carry to lodge. Looking for one at a reasonable price, might consider second hand if they cost a few quid.
If nothing else I will ask my new brothers once initiated but just thought I'd see what ideas people had.

Why not drop admin on the board a pm , he runs a wee regalia firm and finances this forum worth supporting

To be honest, I wouldn't bother at the moment - you won't need one until you do your 3rd. When you've done that, I'd contact whoever is in charge of your local regalia fund (ask the secretary) .. he'll quite likely have something or be able to get a discount.

I would suggest a soft case for a newbie. They only cost about £ 25
They are like a giant laptop case and you can graduate to a latflat case at a later stage and the soft case would still be useful as a normal case. I use one to carry my Royal Arch regalia in.

For now I think I'm gonna stick with a black portfolio zip up type folder and see how things progress but thanks for all your input and help.
