Light in the garden

Postby Luci » Sat Dec 12, 2015 2:30 pm

Three men in a garden. One's a doctor, one's a cowboy, and one's gentleman, also known as Buck, Poncho and Prince. One by one they come across this building and it's been a long day. Buck goes in and walks up to a counter and asks the lady there for a drink. Poncho walks in and asks the lady for a drink. The Prince walks in and asks the same. She looks at them, looks around the room, reaches down under the counter and pulls out three glasses and a bucket. She proceeds to pour them all a glass of milk and states," It says barn not bar."

I'm sorry, but that's so far over my head - I've got NO idea what that's about ...
I've obviously completely missed the point/joke. Or is it a cultural joke?

It's a Dracula joke. Personal sense of humor. Luci is supposed to be the sacrifice in the garden and pretty much says hold on just a minute. Might make more sense if you consider what Elyon Adoni Or VeChanun means compared to Elyon VeChanun Adoni Or. One is the King of Babylon. Elyon Adoni Or VeChanun is not even Babylonian, It's Greek/Hebrew/English for Leucothea, which is actually traditional Aegyptian as opposed to Syrian Greek. Light in the garden, IEVE for she who rises, which was actually created from Adams ribs or the first of 13 mercies of God, Adoni (psalm 2 specifically). Does that help ? My real name is Anno Lucis only in English.

If it takes more words to explain the joke than the joke itself contains, then I'm afraid, it's failed

Sorry, Luci!

I've heard a lot worse jokes!

Can't be worse than my kiddo's favorite Epimethic joke.

Why did the turtle cross the road ?

Sorry, Luci!"

That's OK. I got a speeding ticket for going 22 mph over the speed limit which was actually 32 in a 60 / 70 mph area yesterday. I can own that.

Me too.

(although there are no 60/70 areas; they're either one or the other, or variable speed limit areas - where the current speed is always shown .. if you were actually doing 32 over, he was being kind as 30+ over is automatic licence loss ..)

I don't understand the explanation (20) and the joke? doesn't make any sense unless you heard it whilst (7)
and only remembered the punch line. I know lots of jokes like that. (29)
