Joined the Noble Corks

Postby Dalkeith » Sat Mar 17, 2018 11:53 pm

Brethren all,

Firstly apologies, I haven’t posted on here for a while.

Today I joined the Corkies, it wasn’t really planned but the opportunity came along and so me and my mate Paul jumped in the car and popped over the Forth Bridge to Oak Lodge, Kelty, Fife to join the Cork lodge.

It was great fun, we didn’t know what to expect but had a fantastic night and of course raised nearly £700 for local children’s charities.

If you get the chance I highly recommend it.

This is top of my "to do" list once I've been raised, even ahead of Chapter or Mark. Wantsum Lodge is looking best for me.

I actually knew about The Corks before applying, but strangely no one I've spoken to in my own lodge has ever heard of them. I get the distinct impression that they think I'm confusing them with Ark!

Vinny,

I can see why some might confuse Cork with RAM, but It is a good night and all for charity, although I wouldn't really class it as an other order (like Chapter or Ram) but its good fun none the less

Something I had never heard of until I moved up to Aberdeen. Not one of the first on the list of things to join but I'm sure I will join at some point.

Hi, This is my very first post on this site and it is just to inform interested parties that we have had our Cork Lodge consecrated here in Chichester. We believe we are the first Cork Lodge in Sussex and take great pride in this accomplishment. However, like many others who have posted here and on other sites, the exact composition and whereabouts of the Cork hierarchy remains a mystery. Anyone wishing to join our Pallant Cork Lodge is welcome to contact me via this site. Many thanks and regards, SeikoSid
