The Mason Sections

To stop people continually asking and PM regarding the mason-to-mason sections of this forum, please be aware that you must: -

MAKE AT LEAST TEN POST IN THE OPEN SECTIONS BEFORE APPLYING FOR ACCESS

Any requested to join prior to this will simply be declined. There is no exception to this rule, as it is not just to determine your masonic status but also to ascertain your level of commitment to the Forum.

The usual enquiries will be made in addition to the above, but if you have sat in lodge with one of the moderators, or are known to be a mason by the moderators, these will not be necessary.

This action is not to cause segregation, but merely a measure being put in place due to some incidents on other boards that we do not wish to happen here.

Please be assured the team here appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter.

Enjoy the boards.

We've had a rush of interest in the Craft section recently so in order to make things a little more transparent and streamlined I thought I'd tweak the system and let you all know how it works

1. You apply to the Craft section

2. If you have less than 10 posts I will deny your application. Feel free to apply again when you have 10 posts. The 'waiting' list will not longer apply as it is getting too unwieldy.

3. I make enquiries into your eligibility, but it is assumed that you are aware the Craft forum is for regular* freemasons only and by application you confirm this is the case. If this subsequently turns out not to be the case your honour as a freemason is a stake so please be honest. You may or may not receive an email from me about your masonic credentials

4. I admit you to the Forum. You will get an email informing you of this.

* A regular freemason for the purposes of this procedure is defined as one who subscribes to a jurisdiction in amity with either UGLE, GLoS or GLoI.

Ah, I wondered what the problem was. I can however access the Chapter and Mark sections - without the requisite number of posts!

Better get posting then...

Hi Bluenose,

10 posts of any kind - they can be replies to other peoples posts, or posts on topics created by you, no difference really.

Hope this helps

It's a good thing we've got the "Word association fun!" thread, then! That's a good way to increase your number of posts!!! (47)

I have applied successfully to join the Freemason usergroup. I want to sign up for the craft usergroups, particularly Welsh Masons, when I select the usergroup menu however there is no option to join "Craft" - it is not in the list. RA, RAM, PH, etc. are all there (10 options in all)

What do I need to do? Am I doing something wrong?
