Welcome to the LRUK and to the Newark area. Newark has 5 craft lodges, I can only confirm Foresters' comments on The Newark lodge, and even second that proposal.

I hope you can come to our next meeting on the 16th, and I am sure Forester has already sent a summons the efficient chap that he is, if not let me know. Also the lodge can be hard to find as the road off London road isn't much bigger than a driveway.

Thanks for the comments. You are correct on Forester's efficiency. I have at this time had a drive by of the Avenue, and it is very easy to miss.

Had a very good hour in the company of Forester this afternoon, had a good look around the lodge and the museum.

A great introduction to the Masonic Hall in Newark, Many thanks Forester. :-)

Bro neilf8

There is indeed a museum at the Newark Masonic Hall; although I am far from knowing much about it. Forester is the curator of the Masonic Hall museum, and another member Hemlock is also a member there. If you wanted more information I would point you in their direction.

Hello Matt,

If you fancy a short trip up the A1, you'll be more than welcome to come to the Pelham Lodge in Worksop

Many thanks for the invite, I am awaiting my clearance certificate from my Mother Lodge, and am looking to make a return after the summer break. Would the invite still be open then?

Fraternal greetings

Matt

Hello Matt,

Of course it would, we have an initiation in September if you'd like to come and visit.

Kaiser,

Many thanks, I will look forward to taking you up on your kind invite. When I have my clearance certificate through, I will let you know. It will be interesting to see my first initiation under UGLE.
