Fumbling Ex-Parrot-Mason

Postby Unforgiven » Fri Oct 17, 2014 10:09 pm

Dear All,

Hello, I am an ex-mason (although whilst a 'regular' Brother of the Craft - I was told you are never an 'ex' mason / just perhaps 'misplaced' : Which I was thought was nice, but mentally questioned the situation of those expelled - sorry my mind starts to wander very quickly).

I was a Brother for around 15 years, my Masonic experience was not through Lodge ranks, instead I dedicated my journey through the side orders (excluding the Waldorf Salad). Besides the obvious of Chapter and Mark, I was lucky enough to experience Allied, Secret Monitor, Ark Mariners, Royal and Select, KT, RCC and brusied my thumb in a little bit of Operative. First working abroad became an issue then Illness encouraged me to have a break. I have often pondered over returning, but health is still an issue.

Am I able to wander amongst you here?

Yours ex-Fraternally but sincerely,

Andrew

Hi Andrew - Brother Andrew, because you are correct if once initiated you remain a Mason until such time as you demit from the order.

From your synopsis I presume you have not demitted. You are therefore an unattached Freemason.

Welcome to the forum. This media is a good way of you testing the water to see if you do wish to return to active duty as it were.

Time energy and health determine what we all do. Many of us have experienced bad or failing health but we can hit buttons on a key board so that keeps us in touch.

it will be interesting to see how you look at things in the future.

Welcome to the forum.
