Hi, and welcome from me too!

I live in Kent but most of my freemasonry is in London.

Made my first visit to a Devon Lodge last month ... Royal Naval Lodge in Plymouth. Had a really great time.

Brethren;

Just an update to let you all know how I'm progressing.

I have currently attended 2 further meetings since being initiated, being a military lodge we meet less than most lodges, currently 6 times per year. I have a date for my second degree which I am delight with, but at our next meeting (June) we are installing our new WM.

I have the very honour of presenting the First Degree tools to our new WM. I feel very privileged to have been asked.
I'm looking forward to taking part in the ritual and hope to do my Lodge proud.

Hello Stroudy,

many thanks for the update, it is great to do this so that we know how things are going for you. So installation is June, is your 2nd in September / October, please let us know there may be a few members in the area wanting to visit.

So you have the honour of the 1st degree working tools, that is brilliant and I wish you all the success.

Brethren;

A further update, the Masters installation went fantastically, well the parts that I was privy too being only an EA.
Thankfully with some hard work, perseverance and a fair amount of time walking around in circles talking to myself the First Degree tools went very well and I fell immensely proud.

They went so well in fact that I have been volunteered to do the tools again for our next initiation in September.
Also still very much looking forward to my second degree in October.

You feel proud!

You can only imagine how proud your fellow brethren are of you for doing such a great job!

If your next meeting is an initiation don't forget part of your job for the future will be to ensure your new brother is made welcome and enjoys his journey the way you seem to be enjoying yours.

Keep up the good work my brother.
