Is the 2012 BoC still the latest edition?
And more importantly where can one find the amendments to it.
I know there's a preface to record such changes.

Download the files. They are pdf files which you can search for words and phrases. Very useful and I find better than the books.

Interseting side comment on this.

I thought I could save all some expense by putting all the advice booklets a BOC , bylaws and the first degree ritual on a CD, these days could be a dongle thingy, to be given to an initiate / Fellow or Master Mason on completion of each degree.

I am told that the initiation is not acceptable if a physical BOC is not given ??

He pays for it as part of his registration fee.

I think it would make a nice addition, especially if one was given an old imprint of the BoC. I've seen some Lodge with copies dated 2005!
The updates could then be provided on CD, say in PDF format.

I haven't looked at my physical copy of the BoC for over a decade, as it's been on-line (as a searchable pdf) for a long time.

I was initiated in 2012

My BoC handed to me was dated 1984 or 86

My pm Jewel is also dated 1984 or 86 with a plaque attached naming me

The 2 previous pm both were given new Jewel with their names engraved

When one of them queried why I had not received a new Jewel he was told the lodge recycles old jewels, his face was a picture when told his jewel is gold coloured metal and my recycled one is solid gold

It turns out my BoC belonged to the same man whose PM Jewel is named to.
